Oaken Update
It’s true that Christmas is going to be very different for most of us this year. But even with these changes, there is much to celebrate and we hope that the holiday season finds you and yours healthy and safe.
Please note the following changed to our regular Oaken store hours over the holidays:
Thursday, December 24 – 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Friday, December 25 – Closed
Monday, December 28 – Closed
Thursday, December 31 – 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Friday, January 1 – Closed
Please note that the Toronto store remains closed until further notice.
Planned Oaken Financial service upgrades
We also want you to know that beginning at 10:00PM on Thursday, December 31st, we’ll be completing planned service upgrades. This means that the Oaken Online Banking platform will be temporarily unavailable. The upgrade is expected to be completed by 8:00AM on Monday, January 4th at which time Oaken Online Banking will be fully operational.
We appreciate your patience while we complete the service updates and to assist you during the upgrade process, the Oaken Contact Centre will be available from 08:00AM to 8:00PM on January 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Please note that any transactions initiated during this time will be completed on the next business day.
Update on Zhelevo
Last month we told you about all the efforts made to save a giant Red Oak tree in the east end of Toronto. Since then, we’ve learned that the City has committed to taking over the property and turning the area into a public space.
